Q : How long does it take to get started?
A : As soon as we sign the contract, we provide you with forms to link your practice with GMD. Although private insurances can be billed in less than a week it usually takes 7 to 10 business days for the link to be completed with Medicaid and Medicare.

Q : What work do I/my staffs have to do?
A : All you have to do is send us your work, either by scanning and uploading it to us (the preferred option), or by mailing it to us, or by having us pick it up from your office. In addition, you will need to monitor the Incomplete Information page of the web site, and send us any missing or incomplete information, so we can effectively collect on 100% of your claims.

Q : How do claims get submitted?
A : We electronically submit all clean claims daily. We mail claims daily to insurance companies that do not yet accept electronic submissions. We monitor all electronic submission reports for denials and eligibility issues, and take necessary action.

A : Yes. We comply with HIPAA privacy and security regulations. We also keep track of all new code and regulatory changes and automatically update the software.
